"Unidad en Ritmo" (comp. Michele Fernández) is a Gr. 5 Afro Cuban work for Wind Band in four contrasting (and authentically written) movements, representing  four themes: (1) Guaguancó: Friendship (2) Son Montuno: Celebration (3) Bolero: Sorrow (4) Afro-Cuban 6/8: Adversity


Among other (deeply appreciated venues): "Unidad en Ritmo", was premiered at 2023 CBDNA by FAMU (Dr. Shelby Chipman, Director), and has also been performed at 2024 WASBE, South Korea, (Dr. Shawn Smith, Director)
