"Summertime" for Jazz Ensemble
Commissioned by Camden Regional HS in Maine, this iconic jazz classic is set in 4 styles: (1) 12/8 sassy swing intro, (2) exotically mysterious latin (3) Intense Afro Cuban 6/8 (written in 3/4) and (4) Nostalic (written) jazz piano solo at end. *Coming May '25 to Hal Leonard.

An upbeat Swing chart with a fresh feel and some James Bond-ish "to the rescue" riffs thrown in to depict loyal support from good friends. Scored for Big Band. Gr 3+ (Depending on tempo).
